  • Cameras on during class!

Many students come to me with baseline scores in the 1400s or even 1500s. “I’m already good at the SAT…can I just go straight to the Advanced course?”

Well, no.  SAT Live is the prerequsite for SAT Advanced.  To be successful you need to know the test from top to bottom, from the meta-level concepts to the skills, tricks, and hacks that make up your toolkit.  Most of this content is in SAT Live; if you skip it, you’re skipping the SAT.  However, strong test-takers now have an option to accelerate the timeline.  SAT Accelerate is designed specifically for students who already have a high score and want to improve as quickly as possible.

SAT Acclerate begins with a sprint, an extra weekend of classes before the regular course begins. We dash through the 12 hours of content from SAT Live in just 3 hours of instruction::

·       independent and dependent clauses

·       subject-verb agreement

·       reading for the main idea

·       transitions

·       notes (aka “rhetorical synthesis”)

·       systems of equations

·       percents

·       quadratics

·       subbing-in

·       geometry and trig

·       Desmos!

After that, students join the regular SAT Advanced classes, featuring high-level Math topics and a deep dive into the most challenging Verbal question types.

Math

  • Exponential Functions

  • Statistics and Average

  • Advanced Geometry and Trig

  • More Quadratics

Verbal

  • Hard Charts/Graphs Reading Questions

  • Inference Questions

  • Misplaced Modifiers

  • Deep Dive into Transitions

Finally, we complete one full official test—under testing conditions—the week leading up to the SAT.

Sessions take place over fully-interactive, engaging Zoom lessons. Each session is Live, with 100% student engagement. The lessons are positive, powerful, and dynamic. A working camera and microphone are required. Students must have cameras on for this course! A working student email is required. Email is essential for this course!

Besides covering key topics in SAT Advanced, I also mix in a variety of hard-level questions of all types at the end of each session.  Survivor is a competition where each student gets 2 minutes per question.  Whoever gets it right “survives" to the next round and we go until there’s only one student left standing.  The winner gets $$$ (I send it thru Venmo)…$10, $20, $50, or $100 depending on the number of questions they get correct.  It’s a way to increase the stakes and make it more like the pressure on test day.  This is the part that simply cannot be simulated in self-study.

All materials are digital. Each lesson is recorded. Students are invited to a OneDrive folder where they can access all videos, lessons, study guides, and practice tests.

SAT Accelerate for the March 2026 SAT meets for five weekends starting February 7th/8th PLUS weeknights (Monday through Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 PM Eastern) for the one week leading up to the March 14 SAT.

Total Cost $1120.
